“First of all, this shampoo smells so fresh and natural - beachy vibes for sure! Functionality wise, it is by far the best shampoo for problem scalps I have EVER used. Usually, shampoos that work for my scalp leave my hair feeling like hay, and shampoos that are hydrating leave my scalp with residue. I actually shampooed twice with this product because my hair and scalp get particularly oily, and I get a lot of sebum build up - i have such thick hair that its really hard to really get to all areas of my scalp first time around. On the second shampoo, it really foamed up and after that second rinse I could already feel how super clean it felt. If anyone has ever used pure coconut oil as a scalp mask before you'll know squeaky clean it makes your scalp feel while in the shower. The only problem with pure coconut oil is that it tends to leaves oily reside on the hair unless you wash it out really vigorously - this shampoo literally gives you the best of both worlds. Personally i dont use conditioner anywhere near my scalp so i used the 'nourishing' conditioner by vita coco for the rest of my hair, which was also amazing.”

“I bought this a bit unsure with there only being one review. But I have been transformed by this shampoo. I had a really sore scalp it was like it had been burnt by previous shampoos. It was sore and I had dry skin. After 3 uses and I have no pain no flakes and my hairs feels amazing. The smell is lush. Would definitely recommend.”

“It's always a worry when you are the first to review something as there is no previous feedback to go on but sometimes, you've just got to take the plunge and I'm glad I did! My main worry with this shampoo was the fact that a lot of very well known anti dandruff shampoos like H&S (which is horrendous in my opinion) strip the hair of any colour that may have been applied to it and add dryness to the mix. This was absolutely not the case with this shampoo though and I do have problem hair and scalp. Health problems have left my hair extremely coarse, dry and frizzy and I've suffered with an itchy scalp for around thirty years. The latter being unrelated to my health problems. This shampoo lathers just enough and has a lovely fruity smell - more guava than coconut I would say. I was worried about colour fade, so I used it two days before I was due to have my hair coloured again. There was no need to worry though as I can honestly say that there was zero colour fade. My scalp felt clean and there was a further benefit I was not expecting from this shampoo; the usual fuzzy, frizzy texture, to my hair, I have just after washing, with other shampoos, has been replaced with smooth, shiny locks. That was a big unexpected 'brucie' bonus for me. I can't say for certain if using the shampoo alone would have produced this particular effect; it might have been due to using the matching conditioner along with it. Either way, very, very happy with this and would thoroughly recommend to anyone with a problem scalp and/or dry, frizzy hair.”
